One Sketch Before Sleep

I’m kinda blind of pain thanks to a migraine, so don’t judge me, please.

So this is what happens when I watch History Channel: a sad Medusa.

She has a really sad story; In a late version of the Medusa myth, related by the Roman poet Ovid, Medusa was  a ravishingly beautiful maiden, “the jealous aspiration of many suitors,” priestess in Athena’s temple, but when she was caught being raped by the “Lord of the Sea” Poseidon by Athena’s temple, the enraged Athena transformed Medusa’s beautiful hair to serpents and made her face so terrible to behold that the mere sight of it would turn onlookers to stone (source: wikipedia ).

15 minutes, .7 mechanical pencil  with 2B graphite leads, B pencil, sulphite white paper 56g/m² (AKA regular paper).

She started as a plain girl, and became some sort of revamped Strawberry Shortcake in the middle. Unfortunally the paper was too small, and the pencil, too large, to put some reasonable strawberries as details in her dress.
