One Sketch Before Sleep

Sketch dump for last night: An alien with waaay too short legs, a random girl and another scene from “Adventure time/Chuck”. Marceline would be a cool/crazy Casey ^^.

So… Here we have Agent Bubblegum Walker and Finn, the nerd, mixing animated series “Adventure time” with tv show “Chuck”. I guess I just wanted to put the princess in some sexy suit, lol.

I used again the colored pencils @dohritos gave me.It’s a really good set of pencils, and it makes all the difference. 30 minutes, .7 mechanical pencil  with 2B graphite leads for the rough sketch, black ballpoint pen, sulphite white paper 56g/m² (AKA regular paper) and Norma Atelier colored pencils. Also some psp to adjust the levels and to do the minor corrections.

I miss Chuck.

I’m so rusty using a tablet it hurts :(. No, seriously - my hand hurts.

Anyway, here’s some practice before I start a comissioned artwork. Again, it’s Jared/Olivia, Sam/Thirteen or Noah/Becca (no, you are not familiar with this last couple). I used a reference to the pose, but not for their faces - no wonder they look nothing like the supposed-to-be subject, lol. But I like the skin coloring.

Around 1 hour, using PSPx, SKBDesigner  and Open Canvas. The background came from a scrapbook set.

I have no excuse for this.

It’s a crossover between The Big Bang Theory and The OC, for no special reason except the respectives DVDS are close to each other in my DVDshelf.

From left to right: Seth/Penny (because he would be the ‘cool’ one), Summer/Leonard, Marissa/Sheldon (They have the same last name O.o”’) and Ryan/Rajesh.

This one was digital. I’m so rusty using my tablet >:P.

Logos and hearts googled. Around 20 minutes of nonsenseless sketching and adjustments.

I regret NOTHING.

This is a crossover between Supernatural and Adventure time. It was fun to do. Dean looks hilarious.

So here we have Jared and Olivia. Or Sam Winchester and Thirteen. Or Noah and Becca (no, you don’t know this couple, lol). Pick one and enjoy.

I actually liked the final result (and it’s rare). He looks fine. She still not quite looking as Olivia, but it’s closer than any previous attempts.

Sketched with a .5 pen and regular papaer, and around 1 hour of editing using  PSPX. The house crests and other elements were googled / from personal backup.
